In an age where time is increasingly becoming the most expensive commodity and in lives where everything seems to be moving incredibly fast, it’s important for all of us to take a minute to press the ‘pause’ button and reflect on the role we play not only in our own lives and in the lives of our near & dear but also in the lives of the millions of people who are in desperate need for love and care.

Helios Foundation is a charitable trust founded under the principle that little drops of water combine together to make the mighty ocean. With a little – just a little help from all of our friends, family members, colleagues & well wishers, people just like you, we have embarked on a noble initiative to help the underprivileged children of the country – the kids that you see begging at the traffic signal, the ones washing dishes at your roadside fast-food joint and the ones who you don’t see as well – the millions or orphans waiting for someone to take them home and for someone they can lovingly call their dad and mom.

Based in Chennai, India, the foundation takes care of over 100 children in an adopted orphanage and aims to increase support to many more underprivileged children in the country. A registered charitable trust, the foundation does not get support from any governmental bodies and is completely dependent on the support it receives from its well wishers and the society at large. The foundation was founded by the management, staff and well wishers of Helios Outsourcing (www.heliosoutsourcing.com) and is run as independently by a board consisting of trustees and supporters, details of who are given below.

Santosh Moses
Managing Trustee

Dr. Moses who after several degrees & diplomas in Medicine and Management noticed the lack of quality healthcare available to India’s underprivileged masses and chose to build his career in this field rather the more lucrative private sector in the country. Starting off as a trainee, Dr. Moses is currently the Program Manager of Operation Eyesight Universal, an NGO working towards blindness prevention and treatment in India. Wit h his keen interest his helping the underprivileged children of our country, Dr. Moses heads Helios Foundation as its Managing Trustee.

Cynthia Moses
Foundation Director

Mrs. Moses brings a wealth of experience to the foundation. Following 25 years of service to a governmental organisation, Mrs. Moses surprised many by joining YWCA as its Executive Director of the Chennai Division heading all activities and projects of the NGO in the city. After more than two years at the Y, Mrs. Moses’s dream of helping the underprivileged children of our country came true when she was entrusted with the responsibility of initiating the Helios Foundation. Today, Mrs. Moses is at her very best managing our orphanage’s children like her very own!

Swapna S
Trustee

Swapna, an Asst. Manager at one of India’s leading banks was part of the trust’s founding team and is a trustee. Spreading the word about the foundation through her current posting, Swapna aims to increase our supporter-base and enhancing the foundation’s activities in the country.

Neha Sonar
Trustee

Neha, the young and dynamic VP of Helios Outsourcing loves children and always wished to contribute to their education and overall development. Using her widespread contacts around the cou ntry, Neha’s aim is to ensure a national supporter-base from like-minded individuals and companies.

Satz Moses

Satz, the Chief Executive of Helios Outsourcing, one of India’s best niche oriented call centre management firms always nursed a desire to help those who can’t help themselves. A magnanimous person at heart, Satz conceived the foundation’s guiding principle that helping hands are holier than praying lips. Heading the foundation’s fund raising division, Satz’s primary objective is to get people to contribute towards our noble cause by giving as much as they can.

Satish, part of Helios Outsourcing’s management team brings over 7 years of management experience to the foundation and helps with the fund raising as well as project management activities. Coming from a family who truly believe in sharing with society, Satish ensures he doesn’t miss any of the foundation’s activities despite his busy schedule at the call centre.
